La Transju’verticale opens the festivities with a vertical kilometer starting from Morez on a technical track. For its first edition, the X-c skier Roxane Lacroix (SC Bois d’Amont) and the nordic combined athlete Geoffrey Lafarge (CS Chamonix) have reached the first step on the podium.

Starting from the Place Jean Jaurès, la Transju’verticale takes you on a 1200m warming up run in the heart of Morez before the climb to the Pointe de l’Arce witha 250m height difference over 700m ! Come and test your legs on Morez hillsides!
To get back to the town center, the food station and prize giving ceremony, participants will enjoy the usual itinerary to the Roche Brûlée.
Attention, this race has an uneven profile and presents airy and very technical passages, an adapted physical condition and an advanced training are thus essential. Make sure to be conveniently warmed up.

For security reasons, participation to la Transju’verticale is limited to the first 100 persons. Individual and timed race with start every 30 seconds. Parental authorisation mandatory for under 18. Walking sticks are not authorised on this competition because of the steep profile.
